Front Desk Clerk (NOC 64314)

Job Duties

·        Answer enquiries regarding hotel services and registration by letter, by telephone, and in person

·        Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with the check-in process

·        Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments

·        Register arriving guests and assign rooms

·        Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers using computerized or manual systems

·        Handle guest requests and complaints efficiently, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction

·        Process payments and manage cash transactions securely, present statements of charges to departing guests, and receive payment.

·        Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software

·        Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared for incoming guests

·        Provide information about services available in the community, and respond to guests’ complaints

·        Provide local area information, including dining recommendations and attractions.

·        Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry

Experience

·       Experience in a hotel/Motel will be an asset

Salary

$18/hr

Benefits

  • Overtime Pay (1.5 times of hourly wage after 40 hours of working in a week and or after 8 hours in a given day).
  • Vacation pay as per Saskatchewan Standards (3 weeks or 5.77% of vacation pay)

Job Requirements:

 

1) Bachelor Degree;

2) Experience in both the technology and entertainment industries;

3) Previous experience serving on tech boards;

4) Experience raising significant M&A capital;

5) 10+ years experience working within Music IP businesses;

6) Established network of contacts within capital markets, venture capital, and private equity;

7) Familiarity with financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation techniques;

8) Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships at the C-suite level.

●     Market Insight: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and new developments within capital markets and fundraising specifically for tech and entertainment sectors.

 

●     Report & Presentation Delivery: Present executive summaries to senior leadership, clearly articulating findings, recommendations, and actionable insights.
