Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: Completion of Secondary school or equivalent experience
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Job Duties:
• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports

Responsibilities:

 

Tasks

  • Install and overhaul heating systems

  • Install equipment in refrigerated trucks used to transport food or medical supplies

  • Install refrigeration systems

  • Install ventilation, air handling and air conditioning systems

  • Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation

  • Maintain and repair equipment in refrigerated trucks

  • Measure and lay out reference points for installation

  • Prepare tenders and quotations

  • Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements

  • Troubleshoot heating systems

  • Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems

  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components

  • Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment

  • Provide customer service

  • Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices

  • Perform maintenance such as, recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system

  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning,ventilation or heat pump systems

  • Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs

  • Respond to fire alarms and other calls for assistance
