Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Operations Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and successful operation of our store, with responsibilities ranging from managing staff to handling inventory and customer relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate sales staff and cashiers
- Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules
- Authorize payments and the return of merchandise
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
- Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
- Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
- Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff; monitor and report on their performance
- Ensure the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, including displays, signage, and cleanliness
- Perform the same duties as workers supervised when needed
- Perform key holding and managerial duties such as opening and closing the store, managing escalated complaints, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and signing for deliveries
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position: 35 to 40 hours per week

Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary school is required
- Previous retail sales experience, including at least two years in a supervisory role, is required
- Experience in a grocery store setting is preferred
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of diverse cultural products, especially those catering to the Vietnamese and Asian communities, is an asset
