Perfect Gates and Fences Inc. is a growing construction company located in Caledon, Ontario. The 
company is in the business of installing fences in the GTA and southern Ontario.
The company requires a fence installer to work as part of a team in building and installing fences in 
residential and commercial settings. The position requires a person who can work outdoors as part 
of a team in building structures that conform to individualized specifications and blueprints. The 
successful candidate will have some experience in a similar work setting, be able to communicate 
both in oral and written English, be a strong team player, and be self-reliant when necessary. Heavy 
lifting and working in extreme temperatures and uneven terrain is required.

Education, Training and Experience
• Construction experience
• Trained to use skid steer and power tools
• Secondary school.

Work Site Environment
• Outdoors, various locations;
• Dusty and noisy;
• Uneven terrain, exposed to the elements;

Duties
• Take general direction and assigned work from the site leader;
• Load and unload materials for transportation to job site;
• Operate skid steer to transport heavy materials;
• Carry heavy materials from vehicle to work site;
• Assist in the general set-up of the construction site;
• Dig holes using clamp shovel and digging bar;
• Read and understand blueprints and work specifications; 
• Measure and cut wood to specifications;
• Grade fence posts prior to auguring holes;
• Level earth at installation site to fine grade specifications;
• Install fencing materials using hand and power tools;
• Erect concrete forms; Pour concrete;
• Dismantle concrete forms, reinforcements and barricades as needed at job sites;
• Remove rubble and debris from construction sites;
• Assist in the clean-up of the construction site.

Responsibilities
• Fulfill job duties as assigned by the site-leader each day;
• Use hand and electric tools in accordance with safety rules and regulations;
• Be punctual for work in appropriate attire, including safety/steel-toe boots;
• Ensure that equipment and tools such as wheelbarrow, shovels, saws, chisels, nail gun, 
stapler etc. are clean and in working order.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
• Handle and lift heavy loads of up to 100 lbs;
• Perform repetitive tasks throughout a shift;
• Physically demanding (bending and twisting the body) in an outdoor setting;
• Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations;
• Perform in a fast-paced environment;
• Work under pressure with short turn-around time.

This is a full-time permanent position that pays a wage of $24.00 per hour for 35-40 hours per week. 

Hourly wage is $24
Full time: 35-40 hours per week 
Schedule: Monday to Saturday 
Time: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Tasks:
