Nail Technician

Friendly Nail & Spa Ltd. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Nail Technician to join our team. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for providing a variety of nail care services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.   Responsibilities: Provide consultations and professional advice on nail care and related treatments. Clean, shape, and polish fingernails and toenails. Perform nail extensions and other nail enhancements. Provide hand and foot massages and treatments. Remove old nail polish or nail extensions. Identify and address various nail and skin conditions or issues. Sanitize and maintain tools and workstations to ensure cleanliness and hygiene. Stay updated with current nail trends, techniques, and products.   Qualifications: Completion of high school, college, or beauty school programs for cosmeticians, estheticians, electrologists, manicurists, and pedicurists is required, or equivalent on-the-job training. Minimum of 6 months of work experience as a Nail Technician.   Skills and Abilities: Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and sanitation standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently. Creativity and knowledge of current nail trends.

Terms of Employment: Full-time & Permanent 

Vacancies: 1

Hours: 8 hours/ day, 40/week

Wage:  $ 22/ hour

Benefits: 4% vacation pay 

 

Job Duties:

 

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule servers

• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation

• Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests

• Establish methods to meet work schedules

• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage

• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures

• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards

 

Skills requirements: 

Completion of secondary school 

Minimum 1-year experience

Ability to work as part of, train and lead a team

Client focused and ability to deliver excellent customer service

Effective interpersonal skills
