Overview

Renown Auto Center & Car Rental is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Automobile Damage Repair Estimator to assess vehicle damage, prepare accurate repair cost estimates, and coordinate repair processes with technicians, insurers, and customers.

Experience

1 to 2 years (minimum)

Key Responsibilities (Aligned with NOC 72411 – Estimator Duties)

Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the extent of structural and cosmetic damage

Estimate repair costs, labour time, and materials required for restoration

Prepare detailed damage reports and cost estimates

Plan and coordinate repair work with automotive technicians

Liaise with insurance companies regarding claims, approvals, and documentation

Order parts and materials required for repairs

Maintain accurate records, estimates, and customer documentation

Provide clear explanations of repair processes and costs to customers

Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and repair procedures

Oversee completed repairs to ensure quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction

 

These duties are directly aligned with NOC 72411, which includes inspecting vehicles, preparing estimates, coordinating repairs, and handling insurance and documentation processes.

Food Service Supervisor

Summary
The Shift Supervisor oversees team members to maintain operational standards set by the Manager. This role heavily emphasizes exceptional customer service, product quality, and maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Operations Management: Work alongside staff to ensure product satisfaction and strictly enforce Vern’s Pizza operating standards. Assign duties, ensure optimal staff coverage, and assist in various roles during busy periods to maintain efficiency. Ensure staff adherence to all policies regarding food safety, cash handling, and breaks. Escalate complex customer or employee issues to management.
  • Personnel Management: Lead by example, treat customers respectfully, and react constructively to shift challenges. Provide specific direction, support, and training to new and existing staff. Foster a supportive work environment and report on team performance to the Manager. Assist with recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Health & Safety: Comply with occupational health and safety legislation. Enforce safe work practices and ensure all safety policies are followed during the shift. Immediately inform the Manager of any injuries, unsafe conditions, or security incidents.

Requirements

  • At least one year of supervisory or management experience in the accommodation or hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate as a team player, and effectively manage long shifts.
