The duties of the Food Counter Attendant will include the following on a regular basis:

  • Greeting customers as they arrive and making them feel welcome.
  • Answering questions about the menu, and advising, if required.
  • Serving food from a counter.
  • Assembling and packaging takeaway orders.
  • Maintaining cleanliness standards by keeping the counters and tableware clean.
  • Replenishing food supplies when required.
  • Presenting customers with the bill and processing payments.
  • Complying with company policies.

The restaurant is open 7 days per week, but we want to offer on average a 40-hour week. Evening shifts and some weekends are required.

We offer a competitive salary of $15.25/hour and housing may be available for the right candidate.

As a Long-Haul Driver, you will perform all or some of the following duties:

        Address customers’ complaints or concerns

        Professionalism in customer service

        Load and unload goods

        Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment

        Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle

        Receive and relay information to central dispatch

        Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

        Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

        Willing to travel cross-border in teams

        Willing to travel overnight

        Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, trip computer

Education Requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Work Experience: Experience an asset

Security and Safety: Valid Passport, Drug Test
