Captivating Aesthetics Ltd, operating as Captivating Aesthetics and Wellness Center, located at #101 10501 67th Avenue, Grande Prairie, Alberta, T8W0K8, is looking for a full-time Medical Aesthetician to join our dynamic team at our location.
We specialize in the wide range of services designed to rejuvenate every type of skin. From facial and body analysis, skincare advice and aesthetic treatments and techniques. Our Company is passionate about helping our clients feeling radiant and confident.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform professional facial treatments, extractions, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion, skin rejuvenation and vascular therapies
- Conduct in-dept skin consultations and create customized treatment plans for clients
- Responsible to provide laser-based treatments
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and treatment areas
- Stay up to date with the newest skincare trends, techniques, and product knowledge
- Educate clients about home skincare routines and aftercare
- Schedule follow-up appointment as needed to ensure continuous satisfaction and results
- Keep accurate records of treatments and client progress
- Promote skincare products lines and maintain inventory
- Need to be fluent in English as this is the language used in the workplace
Education
- Completion of a Diploma or Certificate program from a cosmetology or beauty school/college from any jurisdiction
- Previous experience working as a Medical Aesthetician in a spa, medical spa, dermatology clinic will be an asset
- Chemical Peel training
- ZO Skin Health Certification (will be an asset)
- Alma Laser training (will be an asset)
- Fotona Laser training (will be an asset)
- Immode device training (will be an asset)
Experience and Skills
- Excellent understanding of skin types, conditions, and product ingredients
- Proficiency in various aesthetic treatments and utilizing specialized equipment
- Knowledge of infection control and proper sanitation practices
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Sales experience with retail skincare products (will be an asset)
- Team-oriented mindset and a passion for client care
- Several years medical clinical experience
Wages & Benefits
- $25 per hour (based on experience and certifications)
- Will be paid monthly on the last day of each month
- Work hours will be 40 hours per week
- Overtime will be paid @ 1.5, should management request
- Work hours will be Tuesday to Saturday from 8:30am – 17:30pm or Monday to Friday from 8:30am – 17:30pm on a 7 day cycle
- 30 minutes unpaid lunch
- 10 days’ vacation pay
- Accommodation that is not more than 30% of the gross wages will be found for the employee. Employee must pay the accommodation
- Relocation assistance will be provided

- Annual Health Spending Plan of $1000/6 months
