JOB DUTIES

Calculate portion sizes and associated costs for food.

Prepare and cook entire meals or specific dishes and food items.

Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.

Train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.

Oversee the work of kitchen staff and helpers.

Keep inventory and maintain records of food, supplies, and equipment.

Clean the kitchen and work areas to maintain hygiene standards.

Manage overall kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Perform brake adjustments

  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
