We’re looking for one (1) motivated Automotive Mechanic, who can star work as soon as possible.

Job Duties: This is a full-time on-site role for a Automotive Mechanic at Ken’s Auto. The Mechanic will be responsible for performing day-to-day maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of vehicles. 

 

  1. Inspect, recondition, and repair vehicles to ensure customers can drive away feeling safe and at ease. 
  2. Using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
  3. Interpreting diagnostic codes and determining the necessary repairs.
  4. Collaborate with the team to solve technical problems quickly and effectively, meeting deadlines and delivering excellent results. 
  5. Use diagnostic tools to examine motors, perform road tests, and assess automotive systems to identify and diagnose issues. 
  6. From repairing engines to adjusting steering and suspension, and checking brakes, ensure every vehicle performs at its best. 
  7. Carry out regular maintenance services like oil changes, filter replacement, tire rotation / replacement, brake checks / replacement, lubrication, and tune-ups to keep vehicles running smoothly, while following high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization. 
  8. Maintaining detailed records of services performed, parts used, and repairs completed.
  9. Advise customers on repairs performed, the current condition of their vehicle, and any future maintenance needs, ensuring they understand the scope of services and feel confident in their vehicle's performance. 

 

Qualification Requirements:

 

Language:             English

Education:             High School Certificate

Experience:             Minimum 2 – 3 Years

 

Must have knowledge about automotive systems, tools and technical resources and be able to independently perform a variety of basic repairs and maintenance of automobile vehicles. Understand and demonstrate the proper use of equipment and tools used in such repair and maintenance and the need to maintain a clean, safe and organized work areas.

Work Location: Candidates are required to work at various locations in the Lower

Mainland, Greater Vancouver, and Fraser Valley as per company contracts.
