Reito Industrial Products is looking for a mechanical engineering technician to join our team, primarily responsible for maintaining smooth manufacturing operations. Key Job Duties:
- Install, commission, inspect, troubleshoot, service, maintain and overhaul all mechanical equipment and components related to all in house manufacturing.
- Assist in preparing mechanical design sketches, drawings, and bills of material.
- Co-ordinate large projects related to the installation of new systems or the replacement of existing systems. Carry out mechanical tests and inspections to ensure effective quality assurance.
- Provide technical support, advice, coordination and assistance with regard to emerging work, projects and daily routines, including the development of technical/operational solutions to problems.
- Cooperate with team members and sharing information across the manufacturing facility.
- Make appropriate recommendations and briefing on repairs, diagnostics and equipment specifications as well as specifications for new equipment.
- Optimize existing manufacturing processes to reduce cost, improve sustainability, boost productivity, quality, and profitability through regular maintenance, new fixture/tool design and/or new technologies.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts replacements, repairs, and service schedules.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for machinery maintenance and safety procedures.
- Always ensure adherence to standards for safe working conditions.
Education: Secondary (High) school graduation certificate
Work Experience: At least one year’s related experience in manufacturing environment.
Skills and Requirements:
- Knowledge of blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot electrical/electronic and mechanical systems
- Competent with automation and external assemblies
- Ability to troubleshoot problems systematically
- Knowledge and use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software and other relevant software
- Knowledge and use of general office computer software
- Visual, written, and verbal communication skills
- Creative problem-solving skills
