RS Sidhu Trucking is looking to hire dedicated Dump Truck Drivers responsible for transporting various materials from one site to another.

Job Duties:

  • Operate and drive company’s dump trucks to transport paving materials, construction supplies, dirt or garbage to and from specified locations
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections of the truck and inspect vehicle systems and equipment’s such as, brakes, tires, gas, oil and lights
  • Verify the type of materials being transported and ensure that they do not exceed weight restrictions
  • Load and unload materials using the cranks and levers inside the truck
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
  • Promptly reporting any accidents, injuries, or mechanical faults to management
  • Ensure the accurate recording of cargo information, distance logs, fuel consumption and expenses into logbooks
  • Communicate with company dispatcher to organize routing and delivery schedules
  • If necessary, perform basic emergency roadside repairs

 

Job Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school is required
  • Must have Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) or equivalent Driver's License from anywhere or should be able to acquire one
  • Must be able to communicate in basic English
  • Clean driving record
  • No work experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided. Any prior experience operating a dump truck is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance and road safety regulations

Job Summary:
 

Maker Pizza Restaurants Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager, food and beverage service,  based at 388 Carlaw Av. Toronto, ON M4M 3P1. This is a unique opportunity to work with a passionate and dedicated team. The Operation Manager will be responsible for providing direction and coordinating the work in all 6 locations; developing areas of new opportunities, sales, partnerships, operations, growth, and profitability within the company. The Manager of Operations will support all investment-oriented aspects of the company reporting directly to the CEO.

1 full-time Position

40 hrs. Per week

Salary: 64.10 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish objectives for the company by working with internal departments within the company (finance, marketing, technology, and development) to implement business initiatives that drive business growth
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to streamline processes and maximize productivity.
  • Lead and manage a team of operations staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Oversee inventory management, procurement, and supply chain operations to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of operational goals with overall business objectives.
  • Analyze operational data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all operational activities.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for operational needs.
    Drive initiatives for quality control, process optimization, and cost reduction.
  • Represent the company, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the company, in negotiations with vendors.
  • Work with cross functional teams to develop and deploy training and support programs for all levels of the restaurant operation

Experience:

3-5 years of proven experience in operations management within the Food Industry.
 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to drive operational improvements.
  • Understanding of the restaurant P&L, including levers to pull and how to drive restaurant profitability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Nice-to-have:

  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or Project Management.
  •  Experience working with ERP systems for operations management.
