Responsibilities
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

Manage kitchen operations

Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

Clean kitchen and work areas

Inspect kitchens and food service areas

Supervise kitchen staff and helpers

Restaurant Manager (NOC 60030)

We have an opening for Restaurant Manager (NOC 60030) for “Ambiyan on Yonge” (2705985 Ontario Inc .) located at 1560 Yonge Street suite 114 115 Toronto, Ontario M4T 2S9. If you have what it takes to be successful at a busy restaurant, then this is a position for you. We are willing to train you if you have the right attitude. 

Position: Restaurant Manager (NOC 60030)

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Ability to Supervise: 5 to 10 people

Job Duties:

  • Plan and organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Develop the budget to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
  • Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
  • Administer budget
  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
  • Address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • Provide customer service
  • Recruit, train and supervise staff

Employment conditions: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime

Salary: CAD $34.10 per hour/ 30 to 40 hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
