Permanent Full Time 40 hours per week $18 per hour 1 Vacancy Sizzing Wok is looking for a team member with great abilities to oversee and direct the activities for food service production and daily/weekly activities.  An individual who can pay attention to the details and have great command of verbal skills with the team to ensure daily operations are followed correctly.  These include: .MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise, and coordinate preparation of food orders, and prepare food summaries for kitchen staff to follow through on a daily basis. Ensure portion control and quality control of food is done correctly on a daily basis. Establish work schedules and procedures. Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation on a weekly basis. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage. Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline OR minimum two years of experience in food preparation or service and completion of secondary education. Job Description:

Position: Early Childhood Educator

Vacancy: 1

Working Hours: 30 to 40 Hours per week

Wage: 20.00 to 22.00 CAD per hour

Benefits: $6 CAD per hour wage enhancement provided by the British Columbia Child Development Department.

Main duties:

  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children

  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest

  • Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity

  • Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits

  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor

  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings

  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children

  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children

  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children

  • Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours

 

Job Requirement:

License: British Columbia Early Childhood Educator License Required

Education: College, CEGEP

Experience: Experience an asset
