Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Accommodation Officer to oversee daily cleaning operations and building maintenance at our Toronto site. The successful candidate will ensure that our cleaning staff delivers exceptional service, maintains high safety standards, and meets client satisfaction goals.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate cleaning and maintenance staff on site.
  • Plan, schedule, and assign cleaning duties to meet quality standards.
  • Monitor building condition and arrange repairs or maintenance when required.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Train new staff on cleaning procedures, safety, and company policies.
  • Prepare reports on staff performance, supply usage, and operational needs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
  • Address and resolve operational issues promptly.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Completion of secondary school required; post-secondary education in business, hospitality, or facility management is an asset.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in cleaning services, facility management, or a related supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, Findd, Lighthouse, Janitorial Manager).
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality service.

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cutting, processing, and packaging poultry products, particularly chicken, in a fast-paced wholesale environment. The Butcher will be responsible for ensuring all products meet company standards for quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and safely butcher whole chickens, cutting and processing them into various cuts (e.g., breasts, thighs, wings, drumsticks, etc.) according to customers’ order
  • Operate and maintain all butchering equipment, including knives, saws, and meat grinders.
  • Inspect poultry products for quality, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.
  • Package products according to specifications, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, adhering to all safety and hygiene guidelines.
  • Supervise and mentor meat cutters and processing staff, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently met.
  • Manage inventory of processing supplies and materials, ensuring stock is available and properly stored.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly.
  • Assist with scheduling and ensuring that production goals are met.
  • Maintain accurate records for inventory, production levels, and quality control.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience for meat processing industry, preferably in poultry processing or wholesale environments.
  • Food Handler Certification or equivalent food safety training certification is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of poultry cuts, processing techniques, and safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina and strength to handle and process large quantities of meat.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and adherence to hygiene standards.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Willingness to work in a cold environment and follow safety protocols.
