Established in Barcelona, Spain in 2018, and expanded to Canada in 2020, Bluebites Technologies Inc. aims to create and extend smart applications to enlighten the lives of people all over the world.

Officially reestablished its headquarters in Burnaby, BC, with a team of more than 20 young but passionate team members, Bluebites is an innovative smart hardware and mobile internet application company that is centered on the IoT platform. We have become the biggest Canadian Parcel “Last Mile” Solution provider in lower mainland and will expand the business to other provinces in the near future.

 

We are now looking for a new permanent full-time Software development manager to join our team.

Working Location: Burnaby Head Office

Working Language: English

Ability to Supervise: 5+

Compensation: $60.00 per hour/ 30-40 hours per week

Job Description:

  1. Assign IT projects to systems analysts, programmers and other computer technicians
  2. Coordinate IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
  3. Direct and control daily operations
  4. Evaluate daily operations
  5. Plan and control budget and expenditures
  6. Plan and organize daily operations
  7. Review operational reports to assess compliance with software and hardware requirements
  8. Supervise computer analysts, engineers, programmers, technicians and other personnel
  9. Supervise staff
  10. Establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems
  11. Authorize the development of specifications for products or services
  12. Robotic process automation

Candidates Requirement:

  1. University Degree majoring in Information Technology and Management
  2. 3 years plus public company executive management experience (VP level or up).
  3. 5 year plus IoT technology industry experience.
  4. Local Start Up successful funding experience a great asset.
  5. Multi-National Company management position experience a great asset.
  6. Multi-language skill a great asset.
