Responsibilities
Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting

Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat

Remove bones from meat

Cut poultry into parts

Cut fish into steaks and fillets

Grind meats

Wrap and package prepared meats

Weigh meats for sale

Price meat products

Sell meats to customers

Train meat cutters

Slice cooked meats

Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products

Responsibilities and Tasks

  1. Implement new administrative procedures
  2. Review and evaluate new administrative procedures
  3. Delegate work to offi ce support staff
  4. Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  5. Carry out administrative activities of establishment
  6. Co-ordinate and plan for offi ce services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  7. Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
  8. Perform data entry
  9. Train staff
  10. Oversee and co-ordinate offi ce administrative procedures
  11. Resolve confl ict situations
  12. Monitor and evaluate
  13. Order supplies and maintain inventory
  14. Manage routine offi ce functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments
  15. Enter client information in databases
  16. Provide clients with information
  17. Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  18. Office management
  19. Invoice clients
