Family Doctor

Working in a private clinical practice setting, located in a rural area, you will :

  • Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
  • Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases
  • Advise patients on health care
  • Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care
  • Provide acute care management
  • Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
  • Supervise home care services

You will have a clear client focus, while being accurate, dependable, flexible, reliable and a team player. You also mush have good interpersonal skills and excel in oral and written communication. Moreover, you will show that you are organized and exercise good judgment when dealing with clinic clients. This is a full-time, permanent position working 40-48 hours per week.

You must be fluent in English, have a Degree in Medicine, College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and have been granted authorization to practice by the Alberta College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPSA). You also will have a minimum of two years of full time experience in a similar positiont

Salary: $232,000 to $350,000 annually (to be negotiated)

Position

The position requires an experienced and team leader who will be responsible for managing the operations of a restaurant on day to day basis, within the policies and guidelines of the company ensuring customer satisfactions, team member satisfaction and profit maximization.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure restaurant team maintains the highest possible level of customer service.
  • Involve team members in developing and communicating an action plan to achieve productivity targets (inventory control, labour costs, etc);
  • Prepare all required financial plans/reports and submit them on a timely basis;
  • Ensure maintenance of equipment, facility and ground * Resolve customer complaints and ensure adherence to local health and safety codes and company safety/ security policies and procedures.
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Prepare weekly schedule for the staff and Conduct team member performance appraisals.
  • Recruit staff and oversee staff training, Administer corrective action or terminations when appropriate.
  • Ensure complete and timely execution of local marketing programs.
  • This role may include additional responsibilities and duties as may be assigned by the Restaurant General Manager.

 

Requirements

  • Completion of High school education
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in related field
  • Leadership skills- able to direct and supervise staff
  • Communication skills- able to exceed guest expectations

 

Job Status

Full time 35 per week, Permanent

Salary

$26 per hour
