WORK LOCATION/ADDRESS: Candidates are required to work at various locations in the Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, and Fraser Valley as per company contracts

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: PERMANENT FULL-TIME

WAGE RATE: $31.50 PER HOUR (FOR 40 HOURS PER WEEK)

EDUCATION: SECONDARY SCHOOL (HIGH SCHOOL)

EXPERIENCE: 3-5 YEARS

JOB DUTIES:

1.      Oversee, organize, delegate, and assess the tasks of clerical staff involved in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and managing inventories of materials, parts, and products. Additionally, manage activities including processing purchase transactions, coordinating production tasks, dispatching crews, scheduling transportation, and other related responsibilities.

2.      Guarantee adherence to safety and security policies, standards, and regulations, actively participating in their enhancement.

3.      Address a variety of issues and related complaints and implement corrective actions and process enhancements.

4.      Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities.

5.      Place orders for necessary supplies and materials.

6.      Ensure the efficient functioning of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, coordinating maintenance and repair activities.

7.      Conduct performance evaluations for supervised personnel, if applicable.

8.      Perform tasks identical to those carried out by the staff under supervision when necessary.

 

WORK SETTING: THE CANDIDATE SHOULD BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FULL TIME IN THE DAY OR EVENING, OR ON THE WEEKENDS, AND ALSO READY TO WORK OVERTIME WHEN REQUIRED.

Automation Technician
