Job Location: Unit 203- 15300 68th Ave, Surrey, BC, V3S2B9, Canada, various locations in Lower mainland.

Wage rate: $35 per hour ; To be negotiated depend on experience/ 30-40 hours per week

JOB REQUIREMENT 

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Minimum 2 – 3 years experience 

Language: English

Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and chisels

Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction

Excellent understanding of safety rules and regulations

Good physical condition and endurance

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

JOB DUTIES

Prepare estimates of labor and/or material costs

Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements

Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools

Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials

Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems

Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware

Schedule and coordinate work on sites

Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments

 

 

Working setting : Construction, residential and commercial.

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager  to support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations.
