$37.00 per hour | Full-Time | Permanent | 40 hours/week
KANG THE CONQUEROR LTD is a licensed trucking company based in Brampton, Ontario, operating across local, regional, interprovincial, and international routes, including cross-border transportation between Canada and the United States. We are hiring one (1) permanent, full-time Long Haul Truck Driver.
Job Duties:
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using GPS and navigation equipment to minimize fuel consumption and improve efficiency
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
- Load and unload goods
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy when required
- Prepare and maintain documentation including bill of lading, driver logbook, inspection reports, and trip reports
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Class A (AZ) driver’s licence — mandatory
- Valid Air Brake (Z) endorsement — mandatory
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience is an asset
- Basic English language ability
- Willing to travel for long-haul routes, including overnight and extended periods
- Willing to travel cross-border (Canada–United States)
- Available for day, night, weekend, and overtime work

- Handling loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
