Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Resident Manager to oversee daily cleaning operations and building maintenance at our Toronto site. The successful candidate will ensure that our cleaning staff delivers exceptional service, maintains high safety standards, and meets client satisfaction goals.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate cleaning and maintenance staff on site.
- Plan, schedule, and assign cleaning duties to meet quality standards.
- Monitor building condition and arrange repairs or maintenance when required.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Train new staff on cleaning procedures, safety, and company policies.
- Prepare reports on staff performance, supply usage, and operational needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Completion of secondary school required; post-secondary education in business, hospitality, or facility management is an asset.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cleaning services, facility management, or a related supervisory role.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, Findd, Lighthouse, Janitorial Manager).
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
