Food Counter Attendant

New opportunities and challenges every day are just a few of the reasons you’ll be happy you came on board.

When you work at a Tim Hortons Restaurant, you’ll feel right at home. It’s a fun environment where Guests are your neighbours, where co-workers are your friends, and where simple acts can make someone’s day for a lasting impression.

It’s because it’s the people that make Tims, Tims. You can become part of the team!

We are looking for some motivated candidates to assist us with our operation. The ideal person would already have some experience in the field but we are willing to train you.

The duties of the Food Counter Attendant will include the following on a regular basis:

  • Greeting customers as they arrive and making them feel welcome.
  • Answering questions about the menu, and advising, if required.
  • Serving food from a counter.
  • Assembling and packaging takeaway orders.
  • Maintaining cleanliness standards by keeping the counters and tableware clean.
  • Replenishing food supplies when required.
  • Presenting customers with the bill and processing payments.
  • Complying with company policies.

The restaurant is open 7 days per week, but we want to offer on average a 40-hour week. Evening shifts and some weekends are required.

We offer a competitive salary of $15.65/hour and housing may be available for the right candidate.
