The company is located in Prince George and provides janitorial services to commercial & residential buildings. Ideal candidates should be friendly, hard working, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and work with little supervision.

Start Date: As soon as possible; Working hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.

Wage rate: $29 per hour;  30 to 40 hours per Week.

JOB REQUIREMENT 

Education: 

Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or related fields.

Experience: Minimum 1  year relevant experience.

Language: English. 

Computer and Technology Knowledge (preferred)

  • MS Excel

  • MS Word

  • Spreadsheet

  • Quickbook 

 

JOB DUTIES

Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll

Calculate fixed assets and depreciation

Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems

Maintain general ledgers and financial statements

Post journal entries

Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports

Prepare tax returns

Prepare trial balance of books.

Reconcile accounts

 

Working setting : The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day.

The Solar Installer will help lead a team for the installation of residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects. Hours:                                             35-40 hrs/wk
Overtime:                                       $54.00/hr (As per BC Standards – for over 8 hrs/day; 40 hrs/wk)

Education and Experience Requirements:

·      Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

·      Some experience in using hand tools, On-the-job training will be provided. 

  • Valid driver’s licence & Driving record check (abstract) are required. 

·      Ability to meet deadlines in a safe and efficient manner.

·      Ability to handle the physical demands of the work (handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs))

·      Ability to learn & complete on job training.

·      Ability to work safely and effectively on steep roofs.

 

Job Duties:

·      Install, service and repair solar panels and other solar equipment, including inverters and racking systems.

·      Conduct site assessments & take measurements to determine the best placement for solar panels.

·      Secure the solar panels to roofs or other surfaces using bolts, framing, or other materials. 

·      Ensure all installations meet safety standards and local building codes.

·      Operate power tools such as drill presses and handheld tools. 

·      Perform electrical work, including connecting and testing solar panel systems.

·      Review blueprints, technical drawings, or plans to ensure the correct positioning of solar panels. 

·      Work at heights, including climbing ladders and scaffolding.

·      Collaborate with other technicians and installers to ensure efficient and high-quality installations to meet the deadlines. 

·      Provide excellent customer service, including communicating with clients and resolving any issues that may arise during the installation process.
