About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Food Services Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Subway restaurant in Davidson, Saskatchewan. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for someone who is passionate about customer service, staff development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

·        Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff

·        Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and food safety regulations

·        Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for staff and customers

·        Monitor inventory and place orders as needed

·        Handle daily cash operations, budgeting, and financial reporting

·        Provide outstanding customer service and resolve complaints professionally

·        Coordinate daily operations and support team performance

Qualifications

·        College diploma or certificate (1–2 years)

·        Minimum 6 months of experience in a supervisory or managerial food service role

·        Strong leadership and communication skills

·        Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

·        English language proficiency

As a Truck-Trailer Driver, you will perform all or some of the following duties:

       Professionalism in customer service.

       Load and unload goods.

       Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.

       Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.

       Receive and relay information to central dispatch.

       Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.

       Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.

       Willing to travel overnight.

       Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, trip computer.

       Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip).

       Drive manual transmission vehicle.

 

Language Requirements: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience:

Terms of employment: Full Time / Permanent (30 to 35 hours / week), Paid Vacation

Compensation: CAD $36.10 /hour

Transportation/Travel Experience: Local, Short haul

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): AZ class license.

Communication systems experience: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, trip computer.
