We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaning Service Manager to lead our operations and ensure top-tier service delivery across all client sites.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Education: 

  • High school diploma required.

  • A college diploma or post-secondary certification in business administration, facilities management, or a related field is considered an asset.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience in the commercial or residential cleaning industry, including supervisory or managerial roles.

  • Familiarity with workplace safety procedures and cleaning protocols, including WHMIS and safe chemical handling.

 

Language: Proficient in English (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and management.

 

Technical & Leadership Skills

  • Solid understanding of cleaning equipment, supplies, and methods for both residential and commercial spaces.

  • Knowledge of sanitation and disinfection practices in high-traffic or sensitive areas (e.g., offices, retail, healthcare).

  • Skilled in following and developing cleaning schedules and operational procedures.

  • Proven leadership in managing teams, assigning tasks, and maintaining productivity.

  • Strong time management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate daily operations of residential and commercial cleaning contracts

  • Supervise cleaning staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and customer satisfaction

  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality control measures

  • Recruit, train, and manage staff, providing ongoing coaching and performance reviews

  • Coordinate and manage supply inventory, ensuring adequate stock of cleaning materials and equipment

  • Manage budgets, maintain accurate records, and control operational costs

  • Oversee client contracts, respond to service requests, and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, WHMIS standards, and health & safety protocols

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional strategies and service offerings

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Daytime hours; flexibility required for occasional evening or weekend duties( for example, to conduct site visits outside regular hours, supervise evening shifts, or respond to urgent client requests).

  • Office and on-site supervision at various commercial and residential job locations within Prince George city.

1 x Maintenance Electrician

Pollyco Group (see www.pollycogroup.com) own various properties in BC including Pollyco (Rupert Square) Shopping Centre located at 500 2 Ave W, Prince Rupert, BC V8J 1G7. Pollyco Group operating as Pollyco (Rupert Square) Shopping Centre Inc. require a full time and permanent maintenance electrician at the mall.

 

Duties 

Planning daily tasks to accomplish weekly overall schedule provided by the office

Order and receive material and select materials and methods for hazardous locations

Clear understanding of the latest edition of the Electrical Safety Code

Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults of circuits

Splice, join and connect wires

Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications 

Knowledge of plans and specifications related to Electrical/FA/LV/Systems/Lightning to do installations for the entire project

Ensure to comply to the Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) daily

Commission systems and components, troubleshoot and isolate faults

Design and construct single-phase service/low voltage multiphase for single or multimeter installations

Renovate electrical systems

Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures

Be able to adhere to schedules and timelines and communicate back to manager regarding daily events and tasks completed

Attend to weekly crew safety meetings

Have strong communication skills in English – written, verbal and comprehension

 

Qualifications

 

Qualified electrician from any jurisdiction OR Eligibility from Skill Trades BC to challenge the Construction Electrician examination in Canada if you do not have it already.

 

Wage and Benefits 

 

Wage $28.50 per hour / 8 hours a day / 40 hours per week

Paid overtime if required to work
