Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish work schedules

Supervision

  • 3-4 people

Shipping Supervisor

Main Job duties and responsibilities

  • –      Oversee and supervisor the daily shipping activities to ensure timely delivery of products
  • –      Assign, schedule and coordinate work and routes to the team of distributing
  • –      Review and maintain record the shipping documents including invoice, receiving, dispatching and bill of lading.
  • –      Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements related to shipping
  • –      Develop and improve shipping policies and procedure to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • –      Resolve any issues related to shipping and products
  • –      Train staff in job duties
  • –      Ensure smooth operation of computer systems and other equipment
  • –      Prepare regular work report

 

Job requirement:

  •       College diploma in business or commerce
  •       Knowledge of shipping regulations and documentation requirements
  •        7 mons+ experience in shipping or logistic field
  •       Excellent communication and coordination skills
  •       Problem solving skills
  •       Knowledge of shipping
  •       Time management and organizational capabilities
  • Ability to work on weekends and evening work shift  

Hours: 40.00/week

Salary: $29.00 / hour 

Vocation day: 10 days or 4%
