TOP DOG GARAGE DOORS INC is a manufacturing provider of a wide selection of residential and commercial garage doors made from a variety of materials, finish, and performance insulation options. We are currently looking for an Assistant Manger to join our team, who will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing and evaluating the operations of establishments that sell products on a wholesale basis. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of sales department
  • Manage staff and assign duties
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors’ operations on sales
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and conduct performance review
  • Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues
  • Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, development and retention of staff

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education in business administration, commerce OR other filed with related product sales experience
  • 5 Years or more working experience in wholesale trade management
  • Ability to communicate effectively 
  • Ability to work cooperatively with customers, vendors, and management
  • Computer proficiency and good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Must be able to multitask and work with tight timelines

Retail Store Supervisor

As a Store Supervisor at UniWay Saskatoon, you will:

  • Oversee daily operations, including computer sales, repair services, online retail activities, and general retail management.
  • Supervise and coordinate a team of sales staff and technical support personnel.
  • Monitor inventory levels of computers, electronics, and accessories to ensure availability and accuracy.
  • Manage repair service scheduling, ensuring timely follow-ups with customers.
  • Oversee the store’s online retail platform, including product listings, inventory updates, and order fulfillment.
  • Prepare staff schedules, ensuring adequate sales, technical service, and online operations coverage.
  • Handle cash management, process daily financial reconciliations, and ensure transaction accuracy.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve service-related concerns efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of repair services, sales transactions, and online orders.
  • Ensure products are properly displayed and priced according to company guidelines.
  • Train new employees on POS systems, repair protocols, customer service standards, and e-commerce operations.
  • Analyze sales, service, and online performance to generate actionable reports.
  • Implement marketing strategies for promoting retail products, repair services, and online sales.
  • Maintain store appearance and ensure a clean, organized, and professional environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
