BREAD BAKER

Charmaine Sweets is looking for a Bread Baker to assist the Head Baker in producing and baking artisanal breads and viennoiserie.

The candidate must have knowledge and experience working with bread and pastry. At least one year of previous bakery employment is mandatory.

An hourly rate of $20 with quarterly tip outs. Once the three-month probation period has ended, the option for an employee benefit program is available.

Job Details and Duties:

– 4:00am start-time

-Accountable to start the shift alone. Will have key holder responsibility.

– Shaping, proofing, and baking the bread and veinnoiserie every morning

– Must have experience working with commercial deck ovens, spiral mixers, and be able to accurately follow recipes and scale ingredients accordingly.

– Must be able to work both independently and with bakery, pastry and kitchen team

– Assist in organizing deliveries of ingredients.

– Ensure a clean and safe work environment.

– Able to lift 25kg or more.

Candidate will start immediately once hired. Training is provided.

 

EDUCATION: 2 years Diploma

Job Duties:
