A Family owned business in the field of commercial and residential electrical services is looking for /1/ One administrative officer for its location in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

The work shall be on a temporary /2/ TWO YEARS' full-time, non-seasonal, contract.

The salary shall be $26.5/h.

The job description shall be:

  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate and implement new procedures.
  • Establish work priorities, delegate work to office support staff, and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed.
  • Coordinate and plan for office services, such as accommodation, relocations, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services.
  • Conduct analyses and oversee administrative operations related to budgeting, contracting and project planning and management processes.
  • Assist in preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence.
  • May supervise records management technicians and related staff.

Employee shall have 10 business days of paid vacation.

Work requirements:

1- Secondary (High School) graduation certificate.

2- 1 to 2 Years experience in office administration or management or related positions.

3- Oral and written English or French. 

MECHANICAL REPAIRER, MOTOR VEHICLE, NOC 72410

A leading car dealership with car mecanic and maintenance services, is looking for /2/ TWO Mechanical Repairers, Motor Vehicle, to work in its primary and only location on 2951, Bank Street, Ottawa (ON), K1T 1N9.

The work is on /2/ TWO years' Contract basis, full-time, and non-seasonal.

The salary is $28/h.

Completion of secondary school and training courses or a vocational program are required.

1 to 2 years experience in car mechanics is required.

Basic Oral English or French is required.

Job Description:

Inspect and test mechanical units, such as engines, transmissions, axles and brake systems, to locate faults and malfunctions

Diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit

Repair or replace mechanical units or components using hand and power tools

Test and adjust units to specifications for proper performance

Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
