Job title: Electrician Location: Abbotsford, BC Salary: $27.50/Hour for 30-40 hours per week Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible Position Available: 01   Job Description: Phantom Electrical is an experienced electrical company that has been providing various services in the industrial, commercial, and residential sectors and has been experiencing rapid growth. We are currently looking to grow our electrical construction team with Apprentice electricians with excellent work ethics and attitude.   Job Duties:

• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations
• Install new wire in existing systems or repairing old wiring using a hand, mechanical or hydraulic bender
• Install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment
• Install, replace and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment such as switches and circuit breaker panels
• Join and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits
• Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system
• Troubleshoot faults in electrical and electronic systems and remove and replace faulty components
• Perform other duties as assigned

  Job Requirements:

• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: Must be able to communicate in English
• Experience: Some previous work-related skill, knowledge or commercial/construction experience is usually needed

  Skills and Qualifications:

• Perceive depth well and can identify and distinguish electrical materials at varying distances
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and have clean driving record
• Able to climb ladders and stairs and may lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail
