We are looking for two (2) qualified Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Technicians for commercial and residential service, installations and repairs to join our growing team in Smithers BC area. Responsibilities:

– Service, Installation and repair Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Systems

– Commercial and Residential

–  Read blueprints, drawing, spec

– Communicating with customers and helping with business growth.

– Must be willing to relocate

Work Experience

– 5~10 years

Salary: $31.50 to $40.00 per hour

Duties:

• Measure and lay out reference points for installation
• Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
• Provide customer service
• Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices
• Recharge system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate system and perform routine maintenance or servicing
• Install, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems
• Plans, lays out, installs, starts-up, connects, maintains, services, repairs, tests, verifies, commissions and de-commissions refrigeration and air conditioning systems, electronic components and their accessories
• Installs and connects piping for the purpose of conveying all types of refrigerants used for both primary and secondary heating and cooling
• Measures, cuts, bends, threads and connects pipe to functional components and utilities and services, tests, adjusts, commissions and decommissions the system.
