Position Title: Food Service Manager (NOC: 60030)

Number of Positions Available: 1
Term of Employment: Permanent Position, 40 hours per week
Location of Work: Camrose, AB
Wage: $36.50 per Hour

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate daily operations of the restaurant.
  • Manage staff performance, scheduling, and training.
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Implement health and safety procedures in compliance with provincial regulations.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Prepare budgets, cost estimates, and operational reports.
  • Coordinate with head office on promotional campaigns and business updates.

 

Qualifications

·        Completion of a bachelor’s degree or college diploma in hospitality, food and beverage service management, or in a related field such as business, psychology, or communications, combined with a minimum of 3-4 years of managerial experience in the food service industry, is required.

·        Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential to uphold Edo Japan’s service standards and team performance.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required, along with the ability to generate operational reports such as sales summaries, staffing schedules, and inventory tracking. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software is an asset.

·        Strong written communication skills are necessary for internal documentation, training materials, and correspondence with head office.

·        Have completed these certifications: First Aid, CPR, Safe Food Handling, WHMIS
