Working condition and hours: Permanent, Full-time, 30~35 hours a week

Wage: $36.00 per hour

 

Responsibilities:

Plan and organize daily operations

Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance

Monitor revenues to determine labour cost and determine type of services to be offered

Control and maintain inventory

Negotiate arrangements with suppliers and negotiate with clients for special events or use of facilities

Address and resolve customers’ complaints or concerns

 

 

Requirement:

– 3 years of work experience in food service sector with some supervisory experience

– Secondary Education

– Able to communicate in English

Wage and working hours: $36.70 per hour and 30 Hours per week

Job Location: Unit FC 03B 701 West Georgia St Vancouver BC (Pacific Center Mall)

Start date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:

–      Leading and coordinating kitchen staff to ensure effective service during peak hours.

–      Preparing and cooking complete meals and ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.

–      Managing kitchen inventory and requisition food and kitchen supplies.

–      Supervising cooks or kitchen staff, supervising food preparation and creating new menus, recipes

–      Ensuring food safety standards are met

–      Mentoring and training new kitchen staff on proper sushi preparation and presentation techniques.

 

Requirement:

– 3 years of experience in commercial food preparation

– High school graduation or higher

– Able to communicate in English
