Supermarket butcher

Responsibilities:

  • Cuts, platters, and displays products (beef, fish, pork, lamb, veal, poultry). Manages inventory and orders additional merchandise as per daily and weekly rotation. Ensures freshness and quality.
  • Prepares specialty meat merchandise; checks product to make sure it meets quality standards.
  • Mentors and supports other meat cutters.
  • Provides excellent customer service, address customers’ needs promptly and effectively, and model suggestive selling techniques. Ensures to provide customer’s orders accurately and on time.
  • Maximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and displaying products.
  • Follows and/or ensures compliance with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
  • Maintains, or ensures maintenance of, a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment and follows storage guidelines in accordance with cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing.
  • Immediately reports safety hazards and violations.

General Manager

  • Build high-quality business strategies, efficient operations, and plans, ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives. Communicate with managers in other areas to ensure all personnel understand and follow protocols, regulations, and policies.

  • Oversee corporate policies and procedures relating to funding, logistics, government, and financial regulations.
  • Ongoing evaluation of company business results to monitor success against established business plans while keeping abreast of competitive landscape changes, portfolio enhancement and land acquisition opportunities.
  • Actively engaged with the senior management team in the planning and executing of portfolio and risk management, new product development, and broker distribution strategies to enhance the status of Tnext Communication Inc. significantly.
  • Organize and engage large-scale complex teams, leading them and helping to develop a high-performing managerial team
  • Give the proper strategic direction and create a vision for success, helping drive the company’s toward long-term success.
  • Proactively create metrics to track the financial and operational performance of the business.
  • Creatively develop recommendations with the goal of cost reduction and profit enhancement.
