Istanbul Café & Espresso Bar is a Premium coffee roasted shop in Toronto, Ontario. Turkish java & sweet & savoury specialties are served at this inviting cafe hung with gourd lights.

 

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Our company is looking for a Café Manager, who will be responsible for the supervision of operations, processes, and products of the company. It is important for the company to comply with high quality standards. He/she will supervise the operations, management processes and quality of our products.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Supervise, plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurants.

·      Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.

·      Conduct research to determine efficiency and effectiveness of managerial policies, food preparation, industrial and quality standards.

·      Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices.

·      Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed in all the locations.

·      Negotiate arrangements with franchisees, suppliers and vendors for food and other products.

·      Supervise the operations of franchisees.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in the food industry.
  • Languages: Fluent in verbal and written English

Rebozos Taqueria has been preferred by many since its inception, and this may be due to the classic flavours of its “homemade” food, which brings a certain warmth and homely feeling to those who taste its dishes, from the most classic: carnitas, chicken and beef tacos to enchiladas and pozole.

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Cook is responsible for the preparation and cooking of meals. The position requires experience as a cook, and the individual will be in charge of the culinary activities of our establishment.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

·        Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers

·        Oversee kitchen operations

·        Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

·        May clean kitchen and work area

·        May plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies

·        May hire and train kitchen staff.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

·        Education: Completion of High School or experience in food preparation or service is required.

·        Experience: 1 year of experience as a Cook.

·        Language: Speak English, Read English, Write English
