Position: Marketing coordinator

Wage: $37.50 per hour

Job Requirements

Language: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Job duties and responsibilities include:

·        Develop communication strategies.

·        Supervise staff.

·        Perform administrative tasks.

·        Plan development projects.

·        Recruit and hire staff.

·        Answer written and oral inquiries.

·        Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions.

·        Develop marketing strategies.

·        Develop and implement business plans.

·        Maintain and manage digital database.

·        Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support.

Supervision: 5-10 people

Computer and technology knowledge: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Final Cut Pro, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Spreadsheet, Database management, Adobe After Effects, Figma, Google Drive, Keynote, LinkedIn, MailChimp, MAC, WordPress, Social Media.

Area of specialization: Audio/audio-visual, Interactive/new media, Communications, Brand management, Corporate social responsibility, Digital media, Strategy.

Job Duties:

·         Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits

·         Evaluate daily operations

·         Monitor staff performance

·         Plan and organize daily operations

·         Recruit staff

·         Set staff work schedules

·         Supervise staff

·         Train staff

·         Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms

·         Conduct performance reviews

·         Organize and maintain inventory

·         Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

·         Address customers’ complaints or concerns

·         Provide customer service

·         Direct and control daily operation

·         Supervision: 11 to 15 people

Employment conditions: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime available

Salary: CAD $37.50 per hour for 30 to 35 Hours per week
