As a Truck-Trailer Driver, you will perform all or some of the following duties:

       Professionalism in customer service.

       Load and unload goods.

       Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.

       Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.

       Receive and relay information to central dispatch.

       Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.

       Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.

       Willing to travel overnight.

       Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, trip computer.

       Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip).

       Drive manual transmission vehicle.

 

Language Requirements: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Construction and Post-Construction Cleaning Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction and Post-Construction Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. This role requires you to manage a team of cleaning professionals, ensuring construction sites are cleared of all debris, dust, and contaminants, making them ready for handover or occupancy. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of construction debris types, safe handling procedures, and industry-standard cleaning practices that adhere to regulatory and environmental guidelines.

NOC Group: Cleaning Supervisors (62024)

Location: West Kelowna

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate cleaning crews for detailed construction and post-construction site cleanup and renovation.
  • Conduct initial and final site inspections to assess the scope, hazards, and progress of cleaning activities.
  • Support onsite training on safety, material, appliances, moving and handling.
  • Oversee the removal of construction debris, such as drywall, dust, and paint overspray.
  • Operate and maintain specialized cleaning equipment, including HEPA-filter vacuums, auto scrubbers, pressure washers, and floor buffers.
  • Ensure safe use of industrial-grade degreasers, solvents, and pH-neutral cleaners based on site material requirements.
  • Implement job site safety procedures in accordance with company safety standards; conduct regular toolbox talks and hazard assessments.
  • Liaise with site supervisors, contractors, and clients to align cleanup activities with project timelines and deliverables.
  • Maintain detailed logs, safety checklists, and cleaning verification forms; prepare and submit cleaning reports and completion certificates.
  • Provide staff training on cleaning techniques, personal protective equipment (PPE) use, and compliance with environmental standards (e.g., LEED certification goals).
  • Ensure the site is inspection-ready and meets final handover standards for occupancy or turnover.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-4 years of skilled construction helper experience and supervisory experience in industrial or construction cleaning.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction and post-construction cleaning protocols.
  • Proficiency in using heavy-duty industrial cleaning chemicals.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret site plans, safety data sheets (SDS), and work orders.
  • Experience with LEED-compliant or green building cleanup practices is an asset.

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: $25.00 to $37.00 hourly / 30 hours per Week
