Restaurant Operations Supervisor

Job Responsibilities: Supervise daily operations across the hotel, restaurant, and liquor store. Coordinate and manage staff schedules to ensure efficient operations. Address and resolve any operational issues that arise. Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction. Manage inventory and supply orders to ensure adequate stock levels. Collaborate with department heads to optimize operational processes. Train and mentor staff to enhance performance and productivity.

Qualifications: Strong organizational and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Basic knowledge of hotel, restaurant, and retail operations (training will be provided).

Registered early Childhood educator (RECE)

Our school is looking for passionate individual to fill the position of "Registered Childhood educator (RECE) at our Montessori School, Odyssey Montessori School.  

Odyssey Montessori School is a non-profit licensed childcare school that serves children from 1 year and 6 months to 4 years. Here au Odyssey Montessori, we belief that children should be able to be given the opportunity to reach their full potential and strive to help them achieve that. Our school is located in Toronto Ontario. 

The ideal candidate must be able to communicate in English with great communication skills. Candidates must have a minimum education of a high school graduation certificate. We are looking for someone who holds experience in a similar position or field with a minimum of one (1) year to less than two (2) years. 

You must hold a valid Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate to be considered. 

In this position you will be required to Assess the children's development in order to prepare a learning plan tailored to his/her needs. You will have to develop an implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical cognitive, emotional and social development of children. You will be in charge of storytelling and leading activates, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest. You will be in charge of supervising staff, trainees and volunteers. You will be required to assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children as well as in keeping records. You also will be in charge of ordering supplies and equipment as well as encouraging children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity. The candidate will engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts, and submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors. You will discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings and establish guidelines for behaviour. You will attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children and establish and maintain collaborative relations with co-workers and community service providers working with children. You will be required to plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and wellbeing of children and plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours. You will be required to supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants. 

This work site environment is a non-smoking, clean and air-conditioned environment. the work setting is kindergarten, working with small children, therefore the ideal candidate must have experience and specialization with children.  There will be supervision of 5-10 people at a time.

The ideal candidate must be dependable and reliable. We are looking for Someone that has the ability to multitask and is an honest team player. You must be punctual and have excellent written and oral communication skills. You must have great judgement, interpersonal awareness and have efficient interpersonal skills. 

The work conditions and physical capabilities include, Repetitive tasks, close attention to detail and a combination of sitting, standing, walking and occasional bending crouching and kneeling. 

This is a permanent full time position the requires 37.5 hours per week with an hourly pay of $22.50/hour. There will be a basic security clearance for potential candidates that qualify
