IT Support Manager (NOC Code: 20012)

Summit Support Services Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced IT Support Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the healthcare industry and a strong background in IT support, troubleshooting, and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the IT support team and oversee daily operations to ensure timely and efficient support delivery.
  • Install, modify, and make minor repairs to computer hardware and software systems
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to enhance service delivery and security.
  • Install software and necessary applications for workflow and train users on new software through various tutorial channels.
  • Maintain system functionality by testing computer components and ensuring network uptime.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex IT issues to minimize downtime and ensure consistent service availability.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other departments to support their IT requirements and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Oversee cybersecurity strategies to safeguard company data and IT assets.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Support Services, focusing on troubleshooting and cybersecurity.
  • Strong understanding and experience with IT cybersecurity practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: $75000 to $92,000 Annual / 35 hours per Week

Retail Store Manager

Clivia Products of Canada Inc., a leading beauty supply retailer with both a retail location and an online store, is seeking to hire a Retail Store Manager to lead and grow our store operations.

Company Information

Clivia Products of Canada Inc. is a retail store specializing in professional beauty and hairstyling products imported from Italy, exclusive to Ontario. We offer a wide range of high-quality hair color, shampoos, conditioners, and styling products, as well as personal hygiene items. Our products are available for purchase both at our retail store and by local beauty salons.

Position Summary

The Retail Store Manager will oversee all aspects of store operations, including team management, inventory control, sales performance, and customer service excellence. This role requires a motivated leader who can inspire their team, optimize store performance, and ensure a welcoming and professional shopping environment.

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of management experience in retail, preferably within the hair and beauty industry.
  • Passionate about the beauty industry, with a strong desire to continually learn and educate store personnel and customers about our products.
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to multi-task, solve problems, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail skills
  • Proficiency in Italian is an asset, as most of our inventory is imported from Italy and some vendors may not communicate in English.

·         Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

·         Must have experience performing the duties listed below

·         Computer / Technology Sills:

o   Experience with Point of Sale (POS) Systems

o   Familiarity with Smart Vendor (our database and inventory control software)

o   Knowledge of QuickBooks

o   Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

o   Experience using email for business communications

  

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage overall company operations.
  • Oversee business finances, including budgeting, expenditures, and revenue monitoring.
  • Establish company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies; identify trends and potential markets for our products.
  • Research market and beauty industry trends to identify customer needs and demands.
  • Manage sales operations, set sales goals, and forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue.
  • Create and implement plans to ensure revenue growth.
  • Stay informed about new products offered in Italy for potential import and sale in Canada.
  • Source, order and manage inventory imported from Italy.
  • Set pricing for products sold.
  • Negotiate contracts with customers, including salons.
  • Hire, train, and manage employees to ensure effective performance.
  • Managing employees to ensure they are performing their assigned duties
  • Formulate and implement the company’s strategic plan.
  • Evaluate the overall success and performance of the organization.
  • Oversee customer service and relations to ensure satisfaction, including responding to requests and resolving issues.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with customers to understand their needs and identify desired products for the store.
  • Planning budges and monitoring sales (revenue)

 Terms, Wages & Work Hours:

·         Permanent full-time position

·         $43.50 hourly for 37.5 hours per week  

·         Monday to Friday with weekend availability
