We have an opening for Line Cook (63200) at our “Nodo Hillcrest” restaurant (2487479 Ontario Inc.) located at 794-796 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto, ON M6C 1B6. A fast-paced environment for a team-oriented person. Responsibilities will include preparing food for in restaurant and take out while following all food safety guidelines and product standards.

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high)school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Job Duties:

·        Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.

·        Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.

·        Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.

·        Order supplies and equipment.

·        Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.

·        Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.

·        Clean kitchen and work areas.

As an Architectural technologist (Noc 22210), you will perform all or some of the following duties:

·        Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD)

·        Create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings with computer-aided design (CAD)

·        Analyze technical documents and reports

·        Assist in supervising construction projects

·        Write specifications

·        Monitor and inspect work

·        Assist in design development

·        Prepare presentation graphics and drawings

Education Qualifications: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Power Point, MS Project, MS Word

Area of work experience: Design
