Restaurant Manager

Duties
– Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant
– Ensure high-quality food preparation and service
– Manage stock control and budgets
– Implement and maintain restaurant policies and standards
– Handle customer inquiries and complaints
– Supervise and train staff
– Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates and address concerns

           – Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

 Salary: CAD$29.00/hour, 

 Working hour: 40 hrs/week (on shift) 

        

Skills and requirements 
– Experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting
– Proficient in restaurant management practices
– Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management
– Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations

          – College diploma in business, hospitality

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
  • Commission systems and components
  • Monitor and evaluate
  • Oversee payroll administration
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
