Responsibilities

Tasks
Estimate costs of installing equipment
Oversee the preparation of sales and orders
Prepare sales or other contracts
Promote sales to existing clients
Identify and solicit potential clients
Assess client’s needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service
Deliver sales presentations
Conduct sales transactions
Prepare and administer sales contracts
Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
Reach to clients after sale or signed contracts to provide ongoing support
Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions
Train customers’ staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment
Provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services
Resolve product and service related problems
Troubleshoot problems related to equipment
Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services
Provide customer service

Position: Head Baker

Wage: $25.00-$30.00/hour (To be negotiated)

Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

Job Duties 

-Prepare batters and bake cupcakes and cakes according to recipes or special customer orders

-Prepare icings for cupcakes and cakes and decorate and design according to specification

-Prepare and bake all tarts, brownies, cookies, scones, bread and other desserts in the shop

-Operate baking equipment such as ovens, blenders, mixers to achieve consistent product

-Prepare pastry and desserts for special occasions such as weddings, birthdays, and holidays

-Manage the kitchen and order ingredients and baking supplies as needed

-Ensure the quality of products meets established standards

-Delegate tasks and supervise and train icers and kitchen staff

 

Job Requirement 

Completion of secondary school

3 years of work experience in related field (baking, pastry arts etc.)

Experience in specialty dessert and cake decorating

Language in English
