Position: Security Site Supervisor (NOC CODE: 62029)

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Work Location: 1043 Bloor St. W, Toronto, ON, M6H 1M4

Wage: $24.50-28.60 Hourly

Expected hours: 32-40 per week

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Site Supervisor to join our team. As a key senior member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our security resources are effectively deployed and supervised.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide line management responsibility (supervision) for assigned security staff at location.
  • Be the frontline liaison between security staff, client and senior security company management.
  • Conduct site orientations, on-the-job training and regular health, safety and security reviews with assigned security staff.
  • Conduct ongoing quality assurance inspections of security service delivery at location through the review of shift reports, video, client feedback and physical job shadow shift visits.
  • Participate in the selection and hiring of new security staff at the location, as well as provide employee performance reviews.
  • Participate in the scheduling, provisioning and grievance process at the location.
  • Provide preliminary internal investigation services at the location with regard to accidents or alleged criminal activity.
  • Ensure compliance of security staff assigned with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Ensure all assigned security staff are in compliance with the Private Security & Investigative Services Act with regard to adherence to The Code of Conduct (Ont. Reg. 363/07), the wearing of uniforms and the ability to produce a valid Security Guard license when requested.
  • Provide regular security guard duties as scheduled or as required.

 

Qualifications:

  • Security Guard License.
  • Must not have a Criminal Record.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills with an emphasis on multi-tasking and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional demeanor under very stressful situations.
  • Must be self motivated and consistently show initiative.
