RESPONSIBILITES

Tasks

·       Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions

·       Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations

·       Load and unload goods

·       Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials

·       Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment

·       Perform emergency roadside repairs

·       Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle

·       Perform preventive maintenance

·       Receive and relay information to central dispatch

·       Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

·       Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

·       Transport and handle dangerous goods

 1.           Job Description/Described Duties:

·       Designs graphics, animations, and manipulates digital photographs.

·       Estimates the cost of materials and time to complete the web page designs.

·       Participates in discussions with clients to clarify what they want.

·       Coordinates various web pages with appropriate links and multimedia elements in collaboration with design team members.

·       Develops and maintains the front-end functionality of websites.

·       Develops site content and graphics by coordinating with copywriters and graphic artists, designing images, icons, banners, audio enhancements, etc.

·       Develop website architecture and determine hardware and software requirements.

·       Upgrades site by updating content and graphics.

·       Edits content, debugs code, and re-designs web pages.

·       Creates logos, banners, and buttons for websites.

·       Tests the web pages to ensure it is working.

·       Contacts external webmasters to confirm link placements.

· Guide other team members on web development issues.

 

·       Provides technical support to end users.

·       Identifies and corrects software deficiencies.

·       Write internal and external design specifications.

· Involved in the creation of a comparison site from scratch.

·       Documents software and technical specifications.

·       Work on multiple projects simultaneously to a high standard.

·       Escalates operational issues to senior management.

·       Creates website promotional material, web banners, and optimises landing and home pages.

·       Register web domain names and organize the hosting of the website.

·       Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and perform other duties according to the requirements of the client.

 

2.     Wages and working conditions:

        Hours of work: 40 hours per week

        Wage: $38.75 per hour

        Overtime: $58.13 per hour after 44 hours per week

        Frequency of pay: Bi-weekly

 

3.     Type of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

 

4.     Vacation:

        Vacation Pay: 4% gross salary

        Paid sick leave as required by the law, but is subject to being reported to the medical officer about the sickness

 5.     Transportation: Public transportation is available

 6.     Accommodation: Provided as required by the law

 7.     Medical Coverage: Provided as required by the law

 8.     Other Benefits: Bonus as declared yearly.

 9.      Termination of employment contract: as required by the law.
