Job Description:

As the Florist Manager at Secret Garden, you will lead the creation and design of our floral products, manage inventory, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your leadership skills and floral expertise will drive our team to achieve sales targets and maintain the highest quality and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

– Supervise and manage the floristry team, offering training and development opportunities.

– Oversee the design and production of floral arrangements.

– Guarantee customer satisfaction through superior service and high-quality products.

– Manage inventory, order supplies, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

– Implement effective marketing and sales strategies to enhance business growth.

– Uphold the boutique's aesthetic and visual standards.

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a florist manager or a similar leadership role in floral design.

– Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.

– A robust creative sense and a keen eye for aesthetic design in floristry.

– Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

– Knowledgeable in inventory and supply chain management within the floral industry.

– Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

– Hourly Rate: $28.39

– Weekly Working Hours: 30 hours

– Vacation: 14 paid vacation days annually

– Vacation Pay: 4% of gross wages, in line with Ontario regulations

  • Address customers' complaints or concerns

  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Prepare food order summaries for chef
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish work schedules
