Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Weld and Fit products according to specified blueprints and procedures
  • Build products from blueprints and ensure internal quality measures are applied
  • Conduct initial inspections of product to ensure adherence to safety and quality
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area in a professional and safe manner
  • Operate a wide variety of machine tools including metal-cutting saws, grinders, drilling equipment and tapping machines.
  • Verify parts and ensure dimensions (overall size and bend angles) are correct.
  • Confirm quantity of parts to the shop order.
  • Keep all parts of an order together and move them to the next station as per shop order.
  • Skid parts for ease of shipping and identify parts if required.
  • Keep station clean.
