Conquip is a premier heavy equipment rental and transportation facility specializing in the rental, sales and transportation of Heavy Equipment located in Aldersyde, AB. We provide a competitive compensation and benefits package with the ability to grow and develop our employees. We are looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Journeyman Mechanic to join our team.

Mechanic Summary:

The selected candidate will utilize Journeyman technical knowledge and expertise to perform complex mechanical tasks in the repair, maintenance, inspection and certification of Conquip’s fleet (Cat, John Deere, Komatsu) with minimal supervision. All tasks and assignments must follow established procedures in a professional, safe and cost-effective manner.

Mechanic Accountabilities:

  • Ability to perform mechanical repairs as required on heavy duty equipment in a fleet environment.
  • Demonstrates the ability to plan and prioritize work and material requirements and operate independently.
  • Expected to plan and supervise the activities of junior staff assigned to them.
  • On and off-road technician with experience with Fleet Repairs and Servicing is required.

DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for the direct care of the residents as indicated by the resident care plan under the supervision of registered staff. The HCA is responsible to report to the supersivor any change in the resident's condition. The HCA works as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Position: Permanent Full-Time (35-40 hours per week); must be willing to work overtime, weekend, day, night, and evening shifts

Salary: $24.00/Hour

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements: Personal support experience or health care aide experience, on-site training will provided. 

Specific Skills: Assist residents with all activities of daily living in accordance with the Home's policies and procedures and Long Term Care Act, contributes in a positive way to the home-like atmosphere of Rainycrest Long Term Care, follows the resident's current care plan and documents resident care on the Daily Care Record, interacts professionally and courteously with residents, families, visitors and staff, adheres to all safety policies including but not limited to resident transfers, mechanical lifts, and environment, maintains the standards and policies set out by the organization and Long Term Care, measures and records resident's weight and reports to the, maintains the confidentiality of all resident information, participates in staff development programs, in services and completes all mandatory education as required, assists with training of all new staff and students, performs such other related duties as may be assigned.
