Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
  • Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
  • Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound

Job Description/Duties Described:

·        Prepare and carry out the preparation of all meals (i.e., lunch, including appetizers, desserts, and occasional hot snacks)

·        Prepare food to include beverages, salads, dressings, sandwiches, and hot and cold plates

·        Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

·        Develop and plan menus along with daily specials

·        Create new recipes and prepare for the same

·        Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory

·        Analyze operating costs and other data

·        Requisition food and kitchen supplies

·        Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food

·        Perform other various clerical duties in food services offices as required

·        Provide customer service as needed

·        Transport food or supplies to serving areas and ensure that areas are properly set up

·        Deliver all food orders requested in a timely manner

·        Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients

·        Supervise Cooks and assist as needed

·        Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area

·        Guide cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food

2. Employment requirements:

·        Apprenticeship training ina  related field.

·        Moderate communication skills in spoken English

4.                 Wages and Working Conditions:

·     Hours of work: 35-40 Hours /week.

·     Rate: $30.75/ Hour

·     Over time: It shall be paid in accordance with the Labor Standards after 44 hours

·     Schedule of hours: Flexible

·     Frequency of pay: Bi weekly.

5.          Vacation:

·        Weeks of vacation with pay: 2 weeks per year.

·        Paid sick leave: As per the labor law, but subject to reporting to the medical officer about sickness.

6.               Accommodation: Not provided.

7.               Food: Not Provided.

8.               Medical Coverage: Yes, as applicable, and according to the labor law

9.               Other Benefits: Bonus as declared yearly.

11.            Deductions – Income tax deductions will be taken. Contributions will be made by the Employer to Canada Pension Plan and to Employment Insurance: Deduction as per the labor law standard.

12.            Termination of employment contract: In accordance with Labour Laws.
