Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Professionalism in customer service
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle

Restaurant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our operations and uphold the high standards of our brand. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in customer service, financial management, and a passion for Cantonese cuisine and culture.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including staff management, service quality, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment.
  • Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures to ensure a positive and welcoming guest experience.
  • Maintain accurate financial and administrative records, including bookkeeping, payroll, and inventory management.
  • Monitor revenues, budgets, and cost controls; prepare cash reconciliations, balance sheets, and cash reports to track profitability and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise restaurant staff, providing ongoing coaching and professional development to maintain high performance standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance, ensuring compliance with company policies, service quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships, including sourcing and negotiating pricing for food, beverages, and equipment.
  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives, special events, and promotional activities to drive customer engagement and business growth.
  • Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally to maintain guest satisfaction.
  •  Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe dining environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  •  Minimum of five years of experience in restaurant management; experience in a Cantonese cuisine restaurant is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage Service Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide employees to achieve operational goals.
  •  Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with proven capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to manage financial records, analyze data, and create reports.
  • Valid Serving It Right Certificate and Food Safety Certificate.
  •  Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse clientele and team.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written) is required; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is an asset.
