We are looking to hire a housekeeper to join our cleaning team. You will be responsible for cleaning rooms and common areas, disposing of trash, changing beds, and notifying maintenance of any issues.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities-
- Efficiently clean, sweep, & mop assigned rooms of the hotel while following set health and safety procedures and regulations.
- Restock guest room amenities such as sheets & towels and and advise the supervisor or manager of any stock shortages.
- Attend & respond to guest and staff inquiries, requests, and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Ensure all lost property items left in guest rooms are handled according to procedures.
- Report any issues requiring maintenance of rooms, equipment, etc. to the supervisor or manager.
- Ensure linens/towels are always in stock by laundering in hotel laundry as needed.
- Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers and elevators
- Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
- Take responsibility for equipment, ensuring it is always operated correctly and properly secured when not in use.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of all chemicals and cleaning products and their correct handling procedures.
- Always stay productive and prepare for future needs as time allows.
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees and guests to foster and promote a working environment that maximizes morale, productivity, and efficiency.
- Other duties as required.

Work Conditions-
- Frequent repetitive hand movements.
- Exposure to chemicals e.g., cleaning products.
- Physical work including lifting to 25 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat and water.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, weekends and holidays will be required, as well as mornings and evenings.
