Digital Marketing Officer Position

We are currently looking for an experienced individual to fill our position of “Digital Marketing Officer” for our educational institution, Excellanz Education Inc. 

Our company Excellanz Education specializes in world-class accredited blended learning and part time courses to help students achieve higher educational diplomas. We partner with top ranked Universities across the world offering students the option to gain their bachelors, masters, and PhD diplomas through programs in fields such as Entrepreneurship, Business Management, IT and computer services, and leadership education. 

The ideal candidate must be able to communicate in English with great communication skills. Candidates must have a minimum education of a bachelor’s degree. We are looking for someone who holds experience in a similar position or field with a minimum of Three (3) years to less than three (5) years.

Areas of experience and specialization must include computer and technology knowledge. Experience with programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Windows, Excel, office, and PowerPoint are crucial for potential candidates. 

The candidate will hold many responsibilities within the company. You will be required to Develop policies, portfolio of marketing materials, and supervise, train, recruit, and support staff. You will be required to perform administrative tasks, plan development projects and answer written and oral inquires. You will conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers. You will be required to prepare reports, research papers, education texts or articles and assist in the preparation of brochures, reports newsletters and other material. In this position you will develop and organize workshops, meetings, ceremonies, and other events for publicity, fundraising and information purposes. You will also be required to prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity and information programs, materials, and sessions as well as website content and press releases. You will also conduct analytical marketing studies, develop marketing strategies, and research questionnaires, implement business plans, and deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia. 

We are looking for a client focused, dependable individual who is able to work under pressure with tight deadlines. The ideal candidate must have efficient interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication. The candidate must also be able to handle a large workload and be an organized, accurate, and reliable individual. You must be a team player who takes initiative and holds good judgement. 

This is a permanent full time position the requires 37.5 hours per week with an hourly pay of $36.00/hour. Youth, Indigenous people, and newcomers to Canada are welcome and encouraged to apply.

There will be supervision of 5-10 individuals at a time.
