A very well-known used car dealership is seeking a hard-working Car and Auto Washer/Detailer to work in its location on 2951 Bank Street, Ottawa, Ontario, on a fulltime, non-seasonal, temporary two years’ term contract for $28.5/hour.
The main duties would be:
Cleans the interior and exterior of automobiles, buses, streetcars.
use hand and power cleaning tools such as shampooing, vacuum machine, pressure wash.
polishing and buffing.
Pay: $18.00 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
• Supervision: Supervise, allocate, and coordinate the tasks of staff performing washing, dry cleaning, ironing, pressing, folding, and packing duties.
• Task Coordination: Collaborate with the Manager to prepare task schedules and procedures, and report any work-related problems.
• Training: Provide training to new employees on processes and safety procedures.
• Inventory Management: Monitor supplies and materials and communicate their status to the Manager.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all machinery and equipment are operating smoothly and schedule maintenance and repairs as required.
• Operational Duties: Perform the same tasks as the employees under supervision, track output, and conduct quality checks.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in laundry operations supervisory role.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to train and manage staff effectively.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment maintenance.
